Current Event
Please make sure you choose a current event on something to do with Africa, Asia, Australia.
You are going to write a summary of your current event news article. The summary should be between 2-4 paragraphs or about 3/4 of a page in length. It can be typed or hand written. The summary must give details in relations to the following:
The Five “W’s”:
a. Who is the article about?
b. What is the article about?
c. When did it happen
d. Why did you choose this article?
e. Why is it important for us to know about this article?
Your summary will go into your writing folder, and will be graded using the in-class rubric.
